Questo è un libro intermezzo perchè è una novella che si svolge subito dopo Vengeance ma prima di Atonement.

Meanwhile, Mav is looking to make things official with Eli despite the young man’s busy schedule with medical school. But before he can ask the man of his dreams that very important question, he has to get past Eli’s family first, including a posse of two overprotective fathers, several intrusive uncles and a little girl who just wants to brush Mav’s hair!

With Memphis, Brennan and Tristan settling into their newfound relationship and our favorite threesome from New York visiting for the wedding, there are plenty of chances for old friends to connect and new bonds to be formed.

And of course, what wedding wouldn’t be complete without a little drama including some white hot sexual tension between a not so old grandfather and a certain cocky bodyguard? Add in some more Barrettis, a couple of precocious kids, several dogs, one spoiled cat and a gaggle of new, hot alpha men and you’ve got the perfect storm for a holiday that only the Protectors could pull off!
Durante la lettura mi sono ritrovata più volte con gli occhi a cuoricino perchè adoro le storie dove tutti i personaggi interagiscono tra loro e qui capiamo che ormai questi omoni tutti muscoli, tatuaggi e sex appeal sono diventati un'unica grande famiglia.
E l'occasione per stare tutti insieme ce la fornisce il matrimonio di Hawke e Tate.
I due uomini non potrebbero essere più felici e non solo per le nozze: soprattutto perchè Matty ha finito il ciclo di terapia e il suo tumore è in fase regressiva.
I loro testimoni di nozze, Ronin e Seth, invece sono alle prese con un'importante decisione: decidono infatti di diventare genitori affidatari di due bambini trovati in strada sperduti.
Si scoprirà che le cose non sono così semplici e anzi prenderanno una piega inaspettata e pericolosa ma il lieto fine puccioso è dietro l'angolo ^_^
Mav invece ha una missione difficile e pericolosa: deve andare dal clan Barretti e chiedere la mano di Eli ^__^ sono morta dal ridere!
Il mio trio preferito invece deve confrontarsi con Jonas, Mace e Cole ^_^
E poi in ultimo abbiamo Dante e Magnus e la tensione tra loro che cresce sempre più ^_^
Una novella carina che mi ha fatto compagnia qualche ora e mi ha fatto affezionare ancora di più a questa famiglia ^_^
